Frequently asked questions

Does this upload my files to a server?
No. Merging happens entirely in JavaScript, right inside your browser. Your files never leave your device, so there's nothing on our end to store or delete.
Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
There's no hard cap on the number of files. The real limit is your browser's memory: once the combined size climbs past roughly 100MB a desktop can slow down, and phones hit that ceiling much sooner.
Does merging reduce file quality?
No. Pages are copied into the new file exactly as they are, with no re-compression, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
What about files that have a password?
The tool can't open an encrypted file and will show a clear error instead. Remove the password first — for example by opening the file and printing it to a new PDF.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
No. All you need is a modern browser. No install, no account, no limit on how many times you use it.
